Congratulations to this brilliant group of players who have made us Dubs very proud, what an attitude, they thought we were slowing mentally and we dug it out. Very proud Dub tonight and what can you say about Mayo, they're heartbreakers!

No Sean I'll thank the Dublin team, to keep rolling at the top they way they do takes something special. We fought like Mayo who must be the hungriest team of all time and just about deserved it,

Big congratulations to Mick Fitzsimons, for a lad who did nothing or little wrong since 2011 to lose his place, to come on frequently as a sub late in games and do a great job, to this, 100% deserved.

why had Cluxton nothing to say about Mayo in his speech ? was it deliberate or did he just forget, he thanked everyone else

He delivered the final insult to Mayo in his ill though out speech...he showed a distinct lack of tact there...

Pure and utter arrogance from Cluxton tbh, GAA is really on a slippery slope, wudn be a JB fan but he hit nail on head, more u14's in kilmacud than there is in the county of Leitrim, and Des Scahill just laughed it off. Cant continue in current format, end of.

What a team. That penalty from Dermot was Messiesque. Dean Rock put in his best shift this year. Mick Fitz was fantastic. Costelloe has shown again that there is lots of life left in this panel. Our forwards were poor again in genetal today but we dug it out from 1st gear. The work rate and intensity was something else. Should keep some of the snakes in the grass, who were waiting to pounce on us, quiet for a while.

To be fair, there is nothing more condescending than the hip hip hooray for the losers that usually happens.

Dublin back2back All Ireland Football Champions 2015 & 2016.
6 Leinster Titles in a row. 4 League Titles in a Row and 4 SAMs in 6 wonderful years.
A truly amazing achievement from a magnificent team.
Come on the DUBS.

Enjoy the celebrations - Dub players, management and us supporters.

So proud of this team/squad.

Amazing days at last after being without Sam for so long.

Cooper, Philly, Fenton, Kilkenny, Connolly are certs for All Stars.

Cluxton becomes 1st player to lift Sam as Captain on 3 occasions.

The atmosphere on the Hill was electric from well before Throw In.
Fans were definitely up for it.

PS.
Hope the wannabe invaders on the Hill enjoyed the atmosphere and had a safe journey home. ;o)

Sound man realdub,i thougzt M Firzimmons and Davy Byrne were excellent.I was a little worried when J Cooper was shown the line but the full back line was never in trouble. The backs in general were imperious.Macauley was fantastic when he came on.Costelloe has now been blooded on the biggest day and came through with flying colours. One hard All Ireland to win but to do back-to-back is the sweetest of all.

I woke up laughing today if I wanted to write a script to a final it would not have been far off.

It makes all the days of following the Dubs, with snot running down your face, from the cold and/rain, with only one man and his dog at the games, all the more worthwhile.

Great time to be a Dub I never thought I would see Dublin win back to back. They are all Dublin legends now each and every one of them.

If Jim Gavin stays for another year and does it again they should tear down the spire and build a statue to the man!
