Dublin Ladies Final 2016

(Oldest Posts First)

Any thoughts on the final and in particular the point that wasn't awarded. Did the county board take the correct decision? Personally as hard as it would be to stomach I take my hat of to them. Really showed up the inequality in our games and the county board showed themselves to be bigger than any shocking decision by highlighting it and stating that they congratulate cork but don't want to see this happening again. Really again puts into question the officials in our games. Yes human error can occur but this wasn't even borderline. It seems that a year never goes by without some controversy.

Yeah I agree I think they took the right decision but the whole sideshow about Hawkeye is taken the real problem of the umpire out of the headlines, you didn't need Hawkeye to judge that was a point.
it should be up to the lgfa to come out and make decisions and statements not Dublin or cork

The ladies final should have been replayed after the men's senior final on saturday.
Cork fans could have arrived in after the Mayo fans went home.
