Very sad. words don't do justice.

But what brave little man, a warrior.

I hope he saw just how many people loved and cared about him

As does his family at this terrible time, I hope that brings them some sort of comfort

A warrior of a young man.

Bravery and courage beyond his years. A horrible b*stard of a disease that doesn't discriminate between age, race, gender etc

Rip young man.

Awful news.

My own eldest lady had a major scare a couple of years ago as some of you may know but she is fine now. Even at that I can only imagine the pain that those parents are going through right now.

Life just is not fair. Ben fought a brave fight. RIP little man.

Glad to hear your little one is doing well Mes. Must be the hardest thing in the world to go through.

Can't imagine how his family are dealing with this.

I didnt know that.

I hope that your eldest lady is back to her fit and healthy self now. Would certainly have put everything into perspective for you i'd guess.

I dont have any kids right now, I cant imagine how helpless you would feel as a parent to see your child sick in any way shape or form. Im glad that everything is okay now though.

Tragic news.

Very courageous young lad.

He was so brave and the images of him up close and personal with his hero's in Croke Park is one of many great memories for his friends and family to have, I am sure.

Ar a dheis de go raibh a ainm.

Rest in Peace young Ben.

I can barely cope when my lad gets injured in a game, and he's 17! Can't imagine what it must be like for parents to go through a hell like that. Puts everything in to perspective.

RIP and condolences to the family and friends. Cancer is a b**ch of a disease that effect's most families at some stage but when it happens to someone so young it's heartbreaking.

The tragic passing of someone so young who should have lived life to the full is desperate for his parents and family. I can't imagine the pain that they feel at this time. We'd all love to help them in some way. It's news like this that puts everything in perspective. If you think you're having a bad day just take a minute to to think about Ben and his family. It's very upsetting.
Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam. May his young soul be at God's right hand.
