Another historic display by Dublin. Thought they were a good bit the better team. Kerry were handed 2 goals and were 3 up with about 8 mins to go, so really they shouldn't have to many complaints. I don't think I've ever seen so many hard hits Dublin's physicality has gone up! Have to say I was worried when Kerry got 3 ahead coming down the straight it looked at that stage Kerry had another few points in them. Johnny Cooper was superb and set the standard early on.
A number of Kerry players will probably retire all great servants. A lot of Kerry supporters criticising EfM, I think he did as much as he could with what he has. Geany wasn't as effective when Cooper went on to him and he knew Dublin would be going hard at Kerry in the last few minutes . Brogan and Flynn are struggling and seem to have lost a bit of confidence. Connolly mixed the bad with the brilliant missed two points in second half that he should have scored and then scores one of the best points you will ever see to clinch a game.

Without a shadow of a doubt, this is the greatest Dublin team ever to have represented the county. For athleticism, talent, drive and hunger, I have never seen anything like them.

I was a teenager in the 70s and thought I had seen it all then. During the dark days of 1984 to 1994, and more especially 1996 to 2010, I often despaired that such a team would ever come again to live up to the 70s team....how wrong I was.

Yesterday's comeback was superb. I really doubt that any other county would have responded in such a way. Roll on Mayo and the final.

Mind you, I'm not getting complacent....one game at a time.

As I have said lads and lassies 'These are our Rare Oul' Times'!!

What a game of gaelic football. delighted to be in back to back all ireland finals.
also breaks the semi final cycle over last six years where we lost one then won one each year running.
the donegal 2014 semi final really was all I could think of at half time on sunday.
in that game i never felt we were playing well as a team despite being 9v4 up in it.
on sunday I felt we were well on top all over the park at the same scoreline.
yet very similiar thing happened in the last 10 minutes in both games.
for me it started on sunday when james mccarthy won the throw in on 14 yard line and was blown for over carrying.
cluxton lost his head there and got involved with kerry players needlessly. the guy normally pulls other players away from this carry on and it was exactly what kerry were after at this stage, they knew we were well on top in terms of football and wanted to get us involved in needless stuff.
we allowed ourselves to be rattled for the last 10 minutes with needless panic on every kickout.
half time was perfect timing for us.
I knew at half time that we would now see the lessons of that 2014 donegal game stand to us.
while most people around me thaught we were gone, i felt complete opposite.
second half performance showed all the hunger in this team and them games against cork in the league semi final and this years league installed belief in the side that they just needed to be patient and not go looking for goals that were not on.
even at 3 points down with 61 minutes gone, I always felt there was loads of time as a game generally runs to 74 minutes this year.
13 minutes is loads of time to kick three points in a row, the way we play the game.
gavin has to take huge credit for this performance. for settling a rattled looking team at half time and then his changes during second half.
we had 8 forwards on the pitch in second half, in a time when most others are obsessed with defence it shows how willing he is to go for it.
Felt mcmannoman and rock were real leaders on sunday.
mccarthy will come on for the game and was powering into it the longer the game went on, which for a guy recently injured is a good sign.
possibly mccauley best game in a long time for me. he turned over some very vital balls that led to scores and done a lot of work that goes unoticed by pundits in tracking players which he hasnt been doing for the last 12 months.
although geaney got scores for kerry I thaught david byrne and johnny cooper were our two best defenders both were willing to put themselves into everything. Three weeks now to look forward and prepare for the all ireland final.

Well played last Sunday lads and lasses. A fantastic occassion as always between the two giants of the game. I must admit it was a tough defeat to take as i felt we we had you's . Anyways all the best for the final. My own view is you will win easy[by 7-10 pts].
