TMH players won't be involved with county teams until their All Ireland campaign is over. Chirs Healy is injured at the moment but safe to assume that he will be involved along with Mark Sherry.

This is total rubbish North South, only ones that seem to worry about is the lads from the south, Tom will put out the best Kildare team, I know that there is more lads from the top end of county but so what. There are sarsfields involved I think 4 lads some are injured and will be ready come championship. So Build a bridge THIS IS KILDARE all of lads on the team are from Kildare and start wondering how we are going to beat Offaly or Wexford in the quarter final. North kildare or South kildare are not County teams

dont think that 15 are the best team no matter what part of the county there from. if tmh get to the all ireland final, i cant see sherry and healy getting to train or play with the 21 team.

It's the Hastings Cup. They're not going to have the best 15 players out in every game. They will be trying out different combinations, players in different positions etc. Lots of lads with college exams at the moment too.

In fairness the perception in the North of the county is that teams are largely derived from the South. The general feeling is that the North lads dont get seen as the football power base and selectors are generally from the South.I think its good that the north lads are being picked for the U21'S but only if the are up to scratch.Right or wrong there is a huge gap in terms of visibility between North and South win the advantage traditionally with latter. Anyway best of luck to them all.

Jeez you swear we lived in a county with a big visible divide instead of a densely populated county of more than 200,000 people with almost half living slap bang in the middle. Leave the North/South divide to the Koreans lads.

Anyone who's ever met Tom Cribbin will know that any suggestion Tom would pick any player other than on merit is utter nonsense. He'll put out what he believes is the best 15, absolutely no question. North/South bias in selection ? Give me a break lads, there are far more important issues in Kildare football to worry about.

I never said it was the best 15. That very clearly wasn't the point of my posting at all.

It always amazes me how (to some people at least) every bad result early in the season means we're doomed, while every good result means nothing as it's 'only the O'Byrne Cup' etc.......

there were only 4 changes made from the westmeath game, so it looks like hes close to what shape they might line out in the first round which wont be long coming around. still only one of last years minor team used, neil flynn.
