Shameful display in that second half. An absolute embarrassment to the jersey. Forget about the back-door lifeline, Walsh and co should walk now.

That was truly awful.
Kevin Walsh, thank you for your service but now please retire.
Now.
Don't wait for the next beating.
Let the team try and redeem something with a manager who thinks attacking might be an option.
What is it with Connacht managers and replacing goalies? Totally daft decision.
Kick outs awful.
No proper use of subs.
With the forwards we have it was sickening to see all that passing across, passing back, walking about and no one inside in a scoring position for a pass.
And then the second half?? The worst ever display ? One point in 40 minutes, only two in the whole second half!!!!!
We would be disgraced against Dublin, Donegal etc.

A new low for Galway football. If Kevin Walsh and his management team really care about Galway football the best thing they could do is walk away on mass today. Otherwise they may stay on and continue the joke that is Galway football. 5 points up at half time and to come out and kick one point in 35 minutes (2 points in 43 minutes) in the 2nd half.

Yes. All those elements in the 2nd half today were there in the game against London i.e. awful kick outs, ridiculously slow build up play, etc.

Unfortunately there is no excuses for Kevin.. He takes full blame, bringing Molloy, Farragher on for the last 2 minutes.
Once the goal went in he should have changed it..

Yeah and it's saying something to be worse than cricket.

I had to switch it off before the end, not because I thought we'd lost it by then but just because they're not worth watching or supporting with the way they play.
Anyway, it's obvious to anyone they can't win anything going forward playing like that. Maybe they should resign themselves from playing the next round...it would do us all a favor.

The hurlers are a tragedy but the footballers are a joke.

Kevin Walsh and his tactics would definitely need to be questioned now !
Going in at half time 5 points up , why did he decided To sit back and defend ??
His substitutions were odd I thought ?
Why bring mike Daly off and not Ian Burke who didn't really get in to it at all today ? And bringing Varley on instead of Farragher ??
Kickouts were terrible again !
Sean Andy caught out again !
Shane Walsh was nowhere to be seen today but every player has there off day
John Daly had a fantastic game and was probably the best for Galway along with mike Daly and Tom Flynn , o laoi was good in first half

Were playing ok in first half in deplorable conditions - O'Laoi and Walsh. Whatever words of wisdom KW imparted at half time put them to sleep. Good footballing conditions in second half and they implode..!! Total lack of leadership both on and off the field. But hey, Kev has kept us competitive and hard to beat - a solid Div. 1 team - Seague final and AI semi last year... The u-20's would have given a better account of themselves...

Totally agree with everything you say. 5 points up at half time playing with the wind in the second half and what do we do. We put 14 men behind the ball and leave one forward up. We hand the initiative to Roscommon who are a very ordinary side. The manager clueless on the line. He has to go now and bring in someone who will give the players a bit of confidence and allow them to attack. Power is an outstanding goalie with a great kick out and he dropped him. For those of us who love Galway football this was embarrassing, one of the worst and hardest to take defeats in a long long time. If we lost to a good team after a good game thats ok but losing like this against a very average side is sickening. Imagine Brolly working on his analysis of this latest shambles from Galway. We know there is football in Galway because we have seen Corofin. Why cant we play like them or at least try.

Also you don't need to be Sherlock holmes to work out that playing Two 4'9 corner backs and a 4'9 full forward in modern day senior inter county football doesn't work. No harm or offence to the Rossies but they are a nothing team and will suffer heavy defeats again in super 8 just like last year. This makes Galways pathetic showing today all the more unacceptable.

Been watching Galway for over 50 years and hard to think of a worse performance. Kevin's loyalty to players who aren't delivering is laughable. Could have taken off any of the 15 to be honest but the timing 69mins for Farragher and 75ish for Molloy. An absolute joke.
Not sure anyone played well. Be hard to make a case for anyone to be honest. Sean Andy twisted inside and out.
We have big big problems and not a lot of time to change things around. Will be Kevin's last game I'm sure. Although players must take some responsibility as well, no fear of them dying with their boots on. A shambles

U20 management team could be brought in for qualifiers but they probably wouldnt want to go against Kevin. The chairman needs to act now for the good of the team. Its tough on Kevin but he has to go now. 2 points in 40 mins playing with the wind at home is unacceptable. This management team cant have any credibility left at this stage. They have to go NOW.

I'm no fan of Kevin Walsh but the players were 5 points up half time and the players scored only twice in the second half.
Was whatever happened at half time all Kevin Walsh' fault.
I cant think of one player that played well in that second half. Cooke and Burke in particular, some of the turnovers by them were criminal. Shane Walsh needed inside and out the middle, that tells me we badly need Comer. Even in the first half, the amount of ball that went in and came straight back out.
I think that's the first ever poor game I saw Liam Silke play.
Attitude and willingness to stick in was all in Roscommons favour

Walsh won't leave until Galway's year is over but he should definitely go even if they get a couple wins in the qualifiers.

He's shown that he's too stubborn to change his ways.
