With the state Galway football is in maybe we shouldn't move on, maybe we should look at things and see whats wrong. Or just maybe we should all just carry on flying our Parish flags and watch Dublin win 10 in a Row. Who will be remembered? Get 45 lads into a County panel, train them and tell them to forget the parish, one County, 1 jersey.

The moral of the Story is, is that you cant remember a GALWAY team winning Sam without 6 or 7 Connemara men on the team. Club titles or no parish titles...

Sammy is obviously from M/M since Corofin have beaten them for the past 6 years in the club championship and is disguising himself as a Westerner to vent his frustration :)

One forward out of 12 in the last two All Irelands, that explains Sammys football strategic plan, the big defensive plan.

Moycullen v Tuam thoughts? Is Cooke back for the game?
Heard Tuam barely deserved the win against Spiddle if Spiddle had a decent free taker at all they'd have pipped them.

You have to agree Tuam were very lucky to get a win over Spiddal. Spiddal had more possession and created more scoring chances but just couldn't convert enough of them. To be fair to Gary O Donnell, he stood up when needed and kicked two massive scores at a crucial time in the second half got them over the line.

Fairly sure Cooke is back but Kelly is out.

Spiddal where shocking on the day up front at least 4 attempts from 25m into the keepers hands and a few other scoreable kicks missed but in fairness Tuam never went behind and never had to chase the game.
Tuam aren't great imo, spiddal did well on Murphy and marked him out of it, mannions up front are ok but bar Gary they are only ok, moycullen i backed to make the final at the start if they avoided corofin and that will happen.

Corofin to beat salthill by 4 to 7 points

Dissapointed for Moycullen would have loved 2 have seen them in the final against Corofin and win it but it wasn't meant 2 be gluk to Tuam Stars and Corofin in the final hopefully will be a good game.

Moycullen hadn't the heads right when they went ahead, needed their county players to step up when they went behind instead the man got anothe black card and sat out the last few minutes, second game in a row- why can't he just play ball and keep it zipped. Corofin will be happier playing Tuam rathe than moycullen

Heads weren't right today. Really disappointed they can play much better but they still did us proud the first semi final for us in decades. I was running late to the game had galway bay on diarmuid blake described moycullen as a team who could beat anyone on a given day but could also lose to anyone on a given day. Now with the exception of corofin (although I think we could give them a rattle if we threw everything at them) i think it's an accurate description

Don't think it bothers Corofin too much who they're playing mise87

Corofin didn't even get out of 2nd gear against Salthill and only for a late rally from Salthill they were comfortable winners. Boys against men really but that's not to discredit Salthill, they have a very young team and will be hoping to build off their minor/u-21 success of the last few years.
Corofin are unbelievable but they're not invincible. I still think their is a slight weakness in their full back line particulary under the high ball. Weather Tuam can expose that only time will tell. Will Fitzy be back for the final? Was he injured for the semi-final?
