What's erroneous about it? He's just stating facts

Every year we need a couple of new bee's to keep the momentum going
Kelly in 2018
Kerin in 2017
Power/Kyne/Brannigan in 2016
In 2019??

Replying To EugeneFox:  "Howard won an all star at midfield and MURCHAN was normally deployed as a corner back. Ask Ian Burke.

Great to see you are a big believer in facts."
Ha yes because every all star is picked in his preferred position. Colm Cavanagh won an all-star at full back and never saw him wearing no 3! Howard played some of his games in the half back line.
Yes, I know MURCHAN played corner back - which is why I indicated they played in different lines.
I think you are missing my point which is not to be afraid to give these guys a chance as they have the class and ability to make the step up.

Replying To handpass:  "Patrick Sweeney left the panel due to work commitments along with Cathal he was not dropped. If Ruairi Greene was called in it would be on merit not because of any hidden agenda you might think Kevin Walsh has, it is pathetic when this dung is thrown up year after year. I for one would like to thank the Sweeney lads for there effort over the years and fair play to them they have left with the Galway jersey in a lot better position than when they started out."
Agreed 're the Sweeneys. Two lads who gave it 100% every time they pulled on the jersey and both deserved on merit their positions on the panel. They owe Galway football nothing

For sure they gave 100% every time
Sure some keyboard warriors were even looking for Kevin Walshe's head last year
I haven't seen the "kevin Walshe needs to go" thread for a while
Thank God
Too much dung and not enough substance
Positive analysis as opposed to brainless opinion from now on please

Replying To Reversepass1:  "John Daly is the best center back we have in Galway. Voted club player of the year if I'm not mistaken. By all accounts, he has been brilliant in training since he has been called in. If he gets a few games under his belt, I predict he will be a certain starter. As for Molloy and Wall on either wing, they are 2 men who know how to win big games and have the medals to prove it.

You have to try and improve the team each year and that means giving outstanding talent like Molloy, Daly and Wall an opportunity to show doubters like yourself what they can do. Their class is beyond doubt. I'd find it very hard to imagine these lads getting a roasting from any half forward line in the country.

On thr flip side, Gareth Bradshaw has been a brilliant servant to Galway. A very talented footballer but he may not have the pace anymore. He would be a serious sub to come on IMO. Likewise with Johnny Heaney needs to regain his league form of last year. Cathal sweeney has given great service also but has pulled out for work reasons. That's why I believe Molloy, Daly and Wall are the best half backs available. Nothing ridulous about it. By the way, Frankie Burke is also a very good forward so I'm not too surprised, he's getting a chance to prove himself"
You are mistaken, Gary Sice was club player of the year not John Daly.

2019? Probably Kieran Molloy, Dylan Wall, Cillian McDaid and John Daly.

Apologies. I thought Daly won it. There was 3 nominations for club player of the year. Gary Sice, Dylan Wall and John Daly. Still he's a very exciting talent

You'd never know who'd make a great impact, nobody would have predicted the impact Sean Kelly & Ciaran Duggan made last year.

Sean Andy was in the last year of 21's before he started to stand out, someone like him might be missed as we're now down to u20's.

Eoghan Kerin didn't standout too much either at underage but has matured into a top corner back.

My team for championship 2019:

1. Lavelle

2. Eoghan Kerin 3. Sean Andy O'Ceallaigh 4. Declan Kyne
5. Kieran Molloy 6. Liam Silke 7. Johnny Heaney

8. Tom Flynn 9. Ciaran Duggan (With Paul Conroy, Peter Cooke and Cian Darcy pushing hard)

10. Cillian McDaid 11. Michael Daly 12. Sean Kelly
13. Shane Walsh 14. Damien Comer 15. Ian Burke

Molloy, Heaney, McDaid and Kelly all interchangeable as modern running wing backs/forwards - 4 serious engines there with pace.

If John Daly proves to be ready for centre back this year then I'd put Liam Silke back in the corner in place of Kyne. There's a lot of talent in that team and every line is strong. If things go right they could really push the Dubs.

I don't think Flynn is good enough as he is too often anonymous in games and is not really that driven to be a top county midfielder IMO. I would go with Duggan and Darcy for midfield with Cooke and Conroy as impact subs.

I think we get your message re Flynn. One of better preformers last season yet you must know him personally to know that he is not driven enough to succeed at the top.

Would have agreed with you until 2018
For me it now is about who plays there with Tom Flynn
