Replying To Belclare1:  "Needless to say i 100% agree. The only reason Tubber did well in the first half at midfield the last day was the crowded it and picked up a lot of breaks in the first half, this was rectified at half time. O Connor was anoyomus all game and if thats what Mayo have in midfield this year i wouldn't be losing too much sleep."
You could be right but midfield is an area we are not too bad in of late. Flynns emergence last year was a big plus along with Cooke & Duggan. Conroy also an option not to mention Cian Darcy & Fiontain. Not saying he isn't good enough just a competitive position.

I believe there has been a couple of get togethers for our potential football squad for 2019, i presume its just to show potential new panelists what its all about and what commitment would be needed.have not a clue what players were invited in other than new faces from salthill, corofin and mountbellew, maybe some others could supply a few names of these potential newcomers????

I think you are confused there. It was Enda Daly from K/C that was called in.

Settle lads.... some of ye are getting a little bit riled up. Clearly Daly from KC has not been brought in as he is retired from club level. But a decent attempt at a troll of poor Belclare.

It's time for the axe to fall on a few current panel members such as GOD, Frankie Burke, P Sweeney

Offaly, a small dual county, stopped mighty Kerry achieving the 5 in a row back in '82. Galway can do the same in 2019. So no whinging, moaning or back biting. Let us go out there and beat the Dubs!!!!

Of course we can beat Dublin in a one of game if everything goes our way, but to suggest they are there for the taking ........ mother of god!

I do think we are best placed to challenge them this year but we have to kick on again. 3 or 4 new players (which any team needs every year) and hopefully we get a bit of luck.
