Gussie thinks it's a big achievement to win by one miserable pount a lower grade Junior medal and similarly Susuki highlights a miserable one in an ordinary league game. If these posters had something really to boast about e.g. a Senior or Intermediate Championship success then people would acknowledge their comments as worthwhile. Until then they would need to put any small measure of success into perspective.

A typical poor thought out response by you. Junior football is a stepping stone for many a young fellow to get a taste of senior action and prepare them for some of the things they might face if they get a chance to play for their senior team. It is also a good base for players who were injured to get game time and help speed up their recovery for a chance to get back into the senior panel. And for some who are near retirement, its where they can get game time, maybe a slower pace but still allow them to be involved in the game they love. These guys can be instrumental in helping young boys along, or help the squad morale senior/junior as more than likely they all train together.

Maybe this is something your team has missed out on this year, maybe I am wrong, but I doubt it!!!

Roslea played their junior team with only 2 or 3 starting players on against our boys today.

fermanaghman321 although a plausible explanation but it is hard to believe and I doubt if you are from Donagh. However, the question that more people would have been interested in has not been answered. It will also be interesting the county board's response if the said person plays on Friday evening's championship quarter final.

Looks like Roslea are back at their old tricks of throwing matches same happened last year. For St. Pats to win by that margin last weekend must leave Newtown and Teemore sick! With the league so tight at the bottom any 'soft' points would be welcome for one team while on the other hand despised by other teams. Sure one can possible see why Roslea did it, with their championship game on this Friday night.Should the county board look at these fixtures on the week end before championship games?

Few predictions for this weekend. No malice intended just giving an honest opinion.

Intermediate Football Championship Quarter-Final
Brookeboro v Aghadrumsee - Nothing between these teams. Brookeborough got good win recently but Aghadrumsee to edge it.
Belnaleck v Maguiresbridge - Belanleck improving under new manager but Bridge having better season. Bridge win.
Coa v Derrylin - Coa need everyone out. Derrylin turning the tide of last few years. Future looking up. Derrylin win.
Newtownbutler v Irvinestown. Irvinestown always perform well in IFC and to give stubbling Newtown a tough time of it. Shock exit for Newtown. Irvinestown win.

Senior Football Championship Quarter-Final
Belcoo v Roslea - Should be a cracker. Repeat of last years final. Belcoo should cause problems for Roslea. Roslea to overcome off field distractions. Roslea win.
Belleek Erne Gaels v Devenish - Another great tie. Always a fiesty local derby. Erne Gaels have dipped in form. Devenish on a good run. Form to continue. Devenish to win.
Ederney v Donagh - Ederney struggling after highs of last year. A young energetic Donagh to cause shock here.
Teemore v Kinawley - This wont be for the faint hearted. Should be a good battle. Kinawley have exciting forwards when on form but Div 1 side Teemore should be strong enough to win through.

What do you think?

Accurate predictions based to logic

Intermediate Football Championship Quarter-Final
Brookeboro v Aghadrumsee (Aghadrumsee as they have a fitted squad)
Belnaleck v Maguiresbridge (M'bridge are superior in player quality)
Coa v Derrylin (Unless a miracle happens Derrylin will take this one)
Newtownbutler v Irvinestown (I would definitely go for Newtown as the I'town team is in crisis)

Senior Football Championship Quarter-Final
Belcoo v Roslea (Roslea if the 3 Q's are playing but it will be close. A surprise could happen)
Belleek v Devenish (This might be closer than most think but Devenish would still be a safe bet)
Ederney v Donagh (St Joes has had mixed fortunes this season with a lot of player injuries. They need to play deep if they are to succeed, so I wouldn't bet on this one)
Teemore v Kinawley (Teemore will simply be too strong)

Roslea were very impressive last night.
The defence was superb and I can't see anyone stopping them lifting another Fermanagh title.
I think Newtownbutler should win the Intermediate title.
Pete McGrath needs to bring in Niall Cosgrove, he is superb
