One change from program Eoghan Ruth comes in for Brian Murphy, playing at full forward

We can pick any team we like but if they are not on the panel they will not feature! Big Jim and Dual are making good sense - it's horses for courses and scoring forwards are scare everywhere. In the immortal words of Babs Keating - 'a donkey won't win the derby'. And I dont mean to cause offence. The point is you can't expect players who are normally free scoring to do it at county level. If you were having a heart op you would want a surgeon to do the job, not a plumber.

Is Carpenter coming back in? would be an excellent move by Rainbow. Really looked back to his self last year in club.

Seems like Carlow are operating an open door policy, other players joined panel recently.

Did nt hear about Carpenter, was a hypothetical question. While we re on the subject has JJ Smyth being asked back?

Bimb, one of the problems we have is that we have no forward who can win their own ball and take on his man.

Now that promotion is gone,i thought the team would have been changed for the last two games, give lads some game time who have barely figured so far,but im not surprised either.

the Tommy Walsh i was referring to was the Tommy Walsh who transferred from Wicklow a few years ago. Is he still involved with the panel.

He is named on the subs bench - he was suspended for the las 2 games. It will be interesting if he does start where will he play, will they move Shane Redmond from centre back position?

Don't like to be critical of anyone involved. But. Why wouldnt they pick the strongest 15 available?

Thats as near as dammit to the strongest team, having said that any realistic hopes of promotion is all but gone and they might have finally found a permanent place for Shane Redmond in CHB.

No its not super sub 3 of those forwards are not good enough. Hayden , Gannon and Jackson should be playin and St. Ledger if he is fit.

Sorry pennypincher, but even if they were playing today,I don't think it would have made the slightest bit of difference, and it breaks my heart to say that.

Hard to stay watching the same problems week after week in terms of our porous defence, but make no mistake, it was individual errors that beat us today. 1-2 literally handed to them from our backs/goalkeeper and a pathetically stupid sending off.
