Supporters travelling to Belfast

Hi, anyone who is travelling to Belfast may remember the journey from last year. You should exit the main M1 motorway at junction 2, and take an immediate left onto Kennedy Way. There is another roundabout almost immediately ahead, at which you take another left onto the Andersonstown Road. Casement Park is on your left. Parking in the immediate vicinity around the stadium is usually ok - if it is very busy you can park at one of the shopping centres a little down the road (a right off the second roundabout) and walk back to the stadium.

On the main Andersonstown Road there are plenty of options for food / a pint, if you are early you can get a drink in the social club in Casement (though no food in the club there will be burgers etc available in the ground). There is a nice match programmes on sale at €2, and Club Aontroma will be selling ballots at €2 for a draw which will take place at half time, the prize is £200.

I will be heading up but on the train from Dublin. Is the stadium far from belfast Central?

its not a walk away thats for sure. Probably about £12 in a taxi - or you can walk into town and get a number 11 bus which will take you straight to Casement Park. The stadium is on the main Falls Road, merging into the Andersonstown Road out of the City Centre

Thanks for the info Brendan, have never been to Casement so am looking forward to the trip (if not a little wary about the outcome).

I ended up driving up to Casement. Quite a small attendence maybe 250 people. Clare were good in the first half with the wind. I thought Pat Vaughan in midfield played very well for a man who hasnt played in a long time. Nikky O Connell did well too. Honan looked dangerous but seems very unfit. Cant wait until he is fit and raring to go again.

That was a massive win and puts us back on course thankfully.

ps:As was the case against Limerick - the officials were poor.
