Clare manager Michael McDermott has included three championship newcomers in his team for Sunday's Munster SFC quarter-final against Waterford.

Barry Duggan of Cratloe is named at full back, Clondegad's Brian Carrig will start at left corner back, while Corofin's Diarmuid Daly is named at left corner forward.

McDermott has also included three of the Kilmurry-Ibrickane side that contested the All-Ireland club football final on St. Patrick's Day with Martin McMahon and Declan Callinan filling the wing back positions and Peter O'Dwyer starting at centre forward. Three other Kilmurry players, Darren and Shane Hickey, and Enda Coughlan, are named among the substitutes.

Regulars Graham Kelly and Laurence Healy weren't considered due to injury. Top scorer David Tubridy starts at top of the right.

CLARE manager Micheal McDermott has named three championship debutants for Sunday afternoon's Munster SFC quarter-final against Waterford in Fraher Field, Dungarvan.Cratloe's Barry Duggan is named at full-back, Clondegad player Brian Carrig will start at left corner-back and Diarmuid Daly from Corofin is selected at left corner-forward.

McDermott has picked three of the Kilmurry-Ibrickane side that reached the All-Ireland club SFC decider in March, with Martin McMahon and Declan Callinan filling the wing-back positions and Peter O'Dwyer starting at centre-forward. Three other Kilmurry-Ibrickane players, Darren and Shane Hickey, and Enda Coughlan are all included amongst the replacements. Injuries rule Graham Kelly and Laurence Healy out of the equation, while another injury doubt Barry Toner has to be content with a place on the bench.
