Based on posts so far best thing to do Is not worry about the football - both sets of supporters head for the pub and talk about 1992

I would go up (believe me I'm not afraid of joureny) but the Clare hurlers are playing Galway on the same day so that kinda decides that!!

If we get a score up there, I think the only clap to be heard from the Clare crowd will be from the manager and the subs!!

Being from carlow and still trying to recover from the 8/9 hour round trip to donegal last weekend (first time I came home from a match at 2.30 in morning and i hadnt been socialising!) it comes as no surprise to me that donegal will not change starting time of game for ye. They say its got to do with traffic and shoppers - having arrived in ballybofey at 3.30 last sat we sailed through town and had not problem parking - i think GAA need to get neutral venues for qualifiers half way between two counties. However the pitch and grounds are topclass in ballybofey. they play 15 men behind the ball so I hope your forwards can score from a distance - the best of luck to you next sat.

Not everyone can afford to stay a weekend. The not switching the time to suit far away countys is a bit of a disgrace IMO. We wouldnt like it if the shoe was on the other foot and had a game in Ennis at 7pm. On the football, Clare should have nothing to fear - 2 outings against 2 div 4 teams thus far this year. The first we were woeful, the 2nd we failed to inspire. If Clare ever wanted to go to Ballybofey, now is the time.

Ennis at 7pm Doolin at 10pm and Lisdoonvarna at 2 am - If Only

Do you think we wanted our 4th home game in a row - Its not like we're getting much mileage froma football perspective !!!
