The inaugural Gaelic Masters Association (Over 40s) All-Ireland hurling finals take place this Saturday in Borris-Ileigh, Co. Tipperary.
First up at 2pm is the Challenge Cup final between Cork and Galway at 2pm. That will be followed at 4pm by the Cup final between Tipperary and Wexford which will be refereed by Johnny Murphy, who also took charge of this year’s epic Liam MacCarthy Cup decider between Clare and Cork.
The Tipperary team features greats such as Lar Corbett, Eoin Kelly and Benny Dunne, while Diarmuid Lyng, Rory and Michael Jacob, and former dual star Redmond Barry are part of the Wexford squad managed by 1996 All-Ireland SHC winner Dave Guiney.
Admission is €10 at the gate, while U16s are free.
