Meath and Offaly are through to the last four of the Leinster MFC following dramatic quarter-final wins over Wexford and Louth respectively last evening.

Meath will face Kildare at Hawkfield next Wednesday, while Offaly will welcome Dublin to Glenisk O'Connor Park for the other semi-final on the same evening.

The Royals produced a remarkable second half comeback at Chadwicks Wexford Park to defeat the home side 3-14 to 1-11. They looked a beaten docket at half-time when Wexford led by 1-8 to 0-4 after Rory Gilbert bagged his fourth goal in just two games in the fourth minute.

But with substitute Ben Corkery making a huge impact, Meath stormed back with second half goals from Cormac Liggan, Cian Commons and Michael McIvor to register a stunning victory.

In Tullamore, Fionn Carney - who hails from the hurling stronghold of Ballyskenach/Killavilla - scored a late point to hand Offaly a 2-11 to 1-13 win over Louth.

The Faithful got off to a dream start when Cian Bracken netted inside 15 seconds. Pearse Grimes-Murphy replied at the other end before Kaelem Byrne's 26th minute goal sent the hosts into the break with a 2-6 to 1-7 lead.

Louth scored the first three points of the second half to take the lead, but after Cillian Foran levelled in the 58th minute, Offaly won it in the third minute of stoppage-time through dual star Carney.
