We held our Split the  pot  draw on Sunday night last 19/7/26 in the Lough Lene Inn Collinstown.

Many congratulations to Eileen Farrelly,  Martinstown, Collinstown, on winning our highest Split the pot of a fantastic €937 the winning ticket was purchased on line.

Brilliant win for our Under 16 

Girls.

Under 16 Girls

Championship.

Result.

On Tuesday last 14/7/26 on a very warm and sunny evening we welcomed the Killucan's under 16 girls to Ballycomoyle for round 2 of the under 16 championship. 

The game started well for Killucan who took their scores very well. Ballycomoyle were slow on the up take and at the first water break we were trailing by 4 points.

For this match we had enlisted the help of the Under 14 girls and when they hit the field after the water break they didnt disappoint, the girls started to come alive and after some beautiful handpasses and great communication between the girls we pushed on, however going in at the break we were still 4 points down, we just couldn't seem to bridge the gap.

At half time, with freshments on board and lots of advise and praise from the coaches the girls started the second half with great belief.

With score after score the girls were fantastic and went ahead and never looked back.

Killucan found their way again in the fourth quarter but at that stage the Ballycomoyle Ladies had the game well in control.

Sympathy.

Our club sends sincere Sympathy to the Murtagh family, Kilpatrick, Collinstown, on the very sad passing of Peter RIP.

To his loving wife Betty, daughter's Breda, Maura and Laura, sister Mary (Brady), his seven adored grandchildren Scott, Ross, Grace, Liam, Tara, Dara and Tom, sisters in law, son in law Alan and Laura's partner Tomas, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.
