Under 14 Boys

Ballycomoyle Under 14 boys welcomed Cill Óige on Wednesday evening last 3/6/23 in wet and slippery conditions, making for a challenging but entertaining contest.

The visitors made the brighter start and opened the scoring with an early goal. Ballycomoyle responded well and found the net themselves, but Cill Óige continued to take their chances and held a strong lead going in at the half time break leading on score line of.

Ballycomoyle 1-03,

Cill Óige 3-04.

Ballycomoyle came out with great intent in the second half, kicking some excellent scores and showing real determination. The visitors also produced some fine football and added some impressive scores of their own, ensuring the game remained closely contested throughout.

With the match hanging in the balance, Ballycomoyle struck for a crucial goal in the closing minutes. That score proved decisive as they pushed on to secure a hard-fought three-point victory.

Both teams deserve great credit for the quality of football played despite the difficult conditions, providing an exciting game for all in attendance.
