Bartleys in Drumcree is where a lotto draw for a jackpot of €5300 took place on Sunday night April 19th. Numbers drawn were, 3, 9, 11 and 30 and the jackpot was not won. Two Match 3 winners who each won €50, are Majella Forde and James Kiernan. The next lotto draw, for a jackpot of €5400, takes place on next Sunday night, May 3rd at the Abbey House, Fore.

Leinster Minor Hurling Championship

Lough Lene Gaels Hurling Club and Turin Hurling Club had player representives on the Westmeath Minor grade panel of players selected for duty v Dublin in a match of the Leinster Minor Hurling Championship, played at Woodside Furniture Park, Castletown Geoghegan on Saturday April 25th. Both clubs congratulate Westmeath on a 1.19 to 0.15 win v Dublin. Equally, both clubs extend sincere best wishes to that same Westmeath panel of players and the team management for another forthcoming match of the Leinster Minor Hurling Championship, Westmeath v Laois, which is scheduled to be played at Portlaoise on Saturday next, May 2nd.
