Result under 16 ladies.

Ballycomoyle Under 16 Ladies started their 2026 league Campaign with a home game against Cill Oige on Tuesday evening last 14/4/26.

Just as girls started warm up the rain started as the evening progressed the rain got more persistent. This didn't deter these formidable ladies as they set about getting the job done. We started the scoring with an unbelievable goal, lobbing the goal keeper from the half forward line and the girls progressed from there.

Half way through the first half Cill Oige fought their way back to draw level, but the Ballycomoyle girls dug deep and went into the break ahead.

After sideline changes the girls started again and both sides exchanging scores but the Ballycomoyle girls hit the net more times than Cill Oige and in the end this was the difference.

Final score 5.4 to 2 9 to

Ballycomoyle. 5-04

Cill Oige. 2-09

Thanks to Cill oige for a great entertaining game, to Ray Farrelly referee, thank you also to the parents for coming out on a horrible evening and huge thanks to the 21 girls who togged out and played their part.

On Saturday morning last 18/4/26 Ballycomoyle hosted

Under 8 ,10 girls go games.

We welcomed Shandonagh, Bunbrosna, CFCW and St. Paul’s and Multyfarnham. We were blessed with the weather and we had a very enjoyable morning of football. Our own young girls showed off the skills they are learning every Thursday evening at training. We are so appreciative of all the help and support that we received to run the go games. Huge shout out to everyone who refereed, made teas, marked pitches, helped with traffic! Thanks to all the young girls and their parents that travelled to Ballycomoyle and I hope all the girls had a great morning of football and fun!
