Junior ladies.
Our junior ladies take a fantastic point and move on to 4 pts from their first 2 League matches.
Ballycomoyle ladies had their second run out in the league at home on Easter Monday evening last Playing with the wind the visitors Garrycastle started the first half well but the Ballycomoyle girls settled into the game as the half progressed score some crucial goals. The Ballycomoyle ladies went into the break 5 points down. However, the momentum was with the home team for most of the second half in what was a very good encounter. Towards the end we edged in front but the visitors levelled before the final whistle for a scoreline of 5-7 to 4-10. Ballycomoyle ladies remain unbeaten going into the 3rd round of the league and the management team were very happy with the battling qualities shown to turn the game around.
The Ballycomoyle ladies now moved on to round 3 of the league in excellent form.

The bank holiday weekend came to a close in Castletown Finea pitch on Easter Monday evening last with the visit of Delvin St Paul's 1st team.
A lively game that the home side struggled to settle against a well drilled and organised team.
Delvin St Paul's raced into the lead and maintained the advantage throughout.
Changes in the second half gave St Michaels opportunities to close the gap and some fine scores made an unlikely comeback seem possible but ultimately the 14 visitors came away with the points.
21 St Michaels players attended and all played a meaningful part.

Round 2
St Michaels 7-9
Kilbeggan Shamrocks 3-03
After an unlucky start to the first round campaign, St Michaels got a chance to get their quest for league honours back on track in Ballycomoyle on Thursday evening last 9/4/26.
Kilbeggan travelled with a strong team who took their chances early on as the home side struggled to find their rhythm. But when St Michaels got to grips with the game they scored some excellent scores.
Into the second half saw St Michaels continuing where they left of in the first half scoring fantastic scores. And their stout defence keeping the Kilbeggan attack frustrated.
St Michaels came away with the points.
Many thanks to Referee John Williams.
And to the Kilbeggan team for making the journey north on a chilly evening.
