Result.
U18 league div 4 Rd 1.
Multyfarnham 2-16
St Michaels 3-8
Multyfarnham hosted the 1st league outing of the year for St Michaels in this re scheduled game from Thursday evening.
Both teams exchanged early scores and settled into an open match with great skill and fitness on display.
Multyfarnham went in up by 3 points at the break.
An early blow for the visitors losing midfielder Daniel Boyle at the start of the second half left gaps for Multy to take advantage of.
The home side picked off some excellent points to take control but 2 late goals gave hope for an unlikely comeback.
Multyfarnham held on to take the points.
Thanks to referee Michael Gordon and Multyfarnham for keeping the pitch in excellent condition despite the poor weather.
Speedy recovery to Daniel.
