Allianz National Hurling League

 

Lough Lene Gaels Hurling club was represented on the Westmeath Senior grade panel of players selected for a Round 7 match of Division 2 of the Allianz National Hurling League, Westmeath v Mayo, played at Elverys McHale Park, Castlebar on Saturday March 21st.

Westmeath 2.37 Mayo 1.14, was the match result. Westmeath though lost out to Kerry via score difference on qualifying to play Laois in the Division 2 final, with promotion as well for both Laois and Kerry as a consequence. Lough Lene Gaels Hurling Club warmly and sincerely congratulates the Westmeath Senior Hurling grade panel of players and team management on a positive finale to their 2026 Allianz National Hurling League Division 2 campaign.
