Last Man Standing - Week 1

A reminder that the deadline for entry into our annual GAA National League Last Man Standing competition is this Friday, January 23.

Entry is €10 with the outright winner scooping €400. This year, all players eliminated in the first round will go back into a separate losers' competition with the chance to win €100 (only players eliminated in the first round will go into this competition). Week 1 will be football and hurling.

Jersey Night

We are holding a Jersey Night in Paddy Ryan’s, Horseleap on Saturday, January 31 at 8.30pm.

Everyone and anyone can wear whatever jersey they want and pay €10. This is a great way for our adult teams, mentors, friends and family to come together and kickstart the year. Music will be provided by ‘Top Heavy’.

All support would be greatly appreciated.

Couch to 5K

Our Couch to 5K initiative led by club members Anna Wrafter and James Fox continues every Wednesday at 7pm in MJS Builds St James’ Park until February 11.

As part of this programme, we’re incorporating the Irish Life Steps Challenge, so every walk or run you do helps build our club total. Download the Irish Life app, log your walks or runs, and help us hit 4,000km steps collectively — once we do, we’re entered into a draw to win a share of €30,000 in club funding.

Last week’s lucky numbers were 4, 18, 26 and 28. There was no jackpot winner. The Match 3 winners were Geraldine Lambe, Alan Fennell and Kathleen Kelly.

2026 membership is now due.

All players must have membership in order to train, play matches or use our facilities. Payment can be renewed through our system on ClubZap.
