St Michaels Results and Fixtures.
2/7/25
St Michael's v St Loman's.
Div 3 round 1.
St Michael's recorded a comprehensive victory over their rivals this evening in Ballycomoyle. A perfect setting for football after early showers set the scene for an enthralling contest to get the under 14 championship off and running.
Some early scores settled the home side, and St Michael's were on the front foot with lomans struggling to find their accuracy.
The visitors found their form late in the first half and rattled off some fine scores.
St Michaels were not to be caught, and a second half masterclass from midfield ensured the points went to the home side.
Final score
St Michaels 13-13
St Lomans (2) 4-10
Congratulations to the under 14 lads and their management team on a fantastic win on Wednesday evening last 2/7/25.

Under 12 Boys.
Our U12 boys were thrilled to get the opportunity to play in Cusack Park on Friday evening last 4/7/25. The conditions were dreadful but this did not dampen our boys enthusiasm!
We played two games, the first game was a very strong Coralstown Kinnegad team. This game was the toughest match the boys have faced this year but despite a tough first half they came out fighting for the second half where they put on a much stronger performance.
The second game against Garrycastle was a nail biting game for all in attendance. The boys played very well in the poor weather conditions and showed plenty of skill.
Thanks to the parents for once again bringing the boys and supporting them on what was a miserable night!
Thanks to the coaches for their time and dedication to this group. Many thanks Darren, Ian and Barry.
Thanks to the referees and lastly many thanks to Cusack Park for making the park available for the opportunity for our young boys to play football
Memories were made and the future is very bright for Ballycomoyle with this group of boys!.
Ladies Football. Results and fixtures.
Challenge
Our under 16 girls travelled to Shandonagh on Sunday morning last 29/6/25 in a scheduled challenge match before our championship campaign starts on 8/7/25
A very good turnout for a Sunday morning with 20 girls togging out. Both teams really treated this seriously and with both teams showing fantastic skills. All 20 girls got good and much needed gametime. Ballycomoyle came out the Victor's in the end. A worthwhile challenge for both teams.
Thanks to Shandonagh for hosting the match to Referee Ken Daly, and to everyone who gave up there Sunday morning to support our girls.
Onwards to the under 16 championship starting 8/7/25.
Junior Ladies.
League Division 5.
4/7/25
On a really miserable evening for a game of football our ladies travelled to Bunbrosna to take on the home side Clann Gael The girls put in a huge effort against a strong wind in the first half to stay in the game. In the second half they went back out with the wind and played brilliant to secure a draw. We were unlucky not to get the win.
