Both of our adult men’s teams are in action over the coming days.

Our junior ‘B’ team open their All-County League Division 6 campaign at home to neighbours Tyrrellspass on Thursday, April 3 at 7pm. Our intermediates are also at home to Maryland in Division 3 at 11.30am on Sunday, April 6.

Last week’s lucky numbers were 1, 8, 18 and 27. The jackpot wasn’t won. The Match 3 winners were John O’Brien, Donal Fox and Bob O’Brien.

100 years young

Congratulations to Margaret (Maggie) Conroy, Demesne who celebrated her 100th birthday with family and friends last Friday, March 28. Margaret’s cheque from President Michael D Higgins was delivered by local postman and Kilbeggan GAA stalwart Keith Gorry.

Wishing Kilbeggan’s oldest resident many more years of health and happiness!
