Adult Football league Div 7 Round 2:

We played our first match of the new season against Ballinagore in Ballycomoyle on Saturday afternoon 1/3/25

With the new Rules in place.

There was nothing between the two teams after 15 minutes in a very sporting game of football with the score line reading 

Ballycomoyle. 0-02.

Ballinagore. 0-02

But as the game went on it was Ballinagore that finished the half on top.

Ballinagore 1-07.

As the Second half started it's was Ballinagore that was getting their scores that bit easier .

And ran out winners on the day.

Plenty of positives to be taken from this game despite the result. Plenty to build on for the year ahead.

 

Split the pot Result

We held our split the pot draw on Saturday night last 1/3/25 in the Seven Wonders Bar and Lounge, Fore.

Many Congratulations to Carola O'Brien on winning €315. The Ticket was bought in Comiskey's, Castlepollard.

Our club Lotto draw takes place on Thursday night 6/3/25. For fantastic jackpot of €5700.The draw will take place in Connie's, Bar and Lounge Castlepollard.

Boots and Bling 

Come to Castle Varagh next Monday 10th March at 7 o’clock to the first practice for Boots n’Bling for some dancing fun and a bit of craic.

 

Scór County Final 

The Westmeath County Final of Scór Sinsear will be held on Sunday next, March 9th, at 3pm in the Downs.The quiz will be held before the stage competitions at 1.30pm.

Ballycomoyle will be very well represented and we wish our participants the very best of luck on the day. All support greatly appreciated!
