54th Annual General Meeting 

 

The 54th Annual General Meeting of Lough Lene Gaels Hurling Club was held at Collinstown Hall on Monday December 9th 2024.

 

2025 Officers

Chairman - Brendan Higgins

Secretary - Martin Williams 

Assistant Secretary - Orla Gallagher

Coaching Officer - Gary Nolan

Irish Language and Cultural Officer - Jo Anne McCormack

Aside from the position of Vice Chairman, other executive positions were not filled at the 54th AGM.

 

Membership Fees 2025

 

Please contact Club Secretary Martin Williams for details of 2025 membership fees. The closing day and date for payment of all categories of membership fees for 2025 is Monday March 31st. 

The closing date of March 31st, is a National GAA rule. Immediately following March 31st year after year, all member clubs of the GAA are obliged to forward to the National Office of the GAA, located at Dublin's Croke Park stadium, the respective details of their respective paid up members for the purpose of registration.

 

Charity match - Saturday January 25th 

 

Lough Lene Gaels Hurling Club will play a Charity Match at Ringtown on next Saturday January 25th. A Ballycomoyle/Ringtown team will be opposing team v Lough Lene Gaels. This match is the second Robbie Cooney memorial match, which is timed to start at 1pm. International rules will be in operation for the duration of this match.

All proceeds from this match will be donated to mental health charities and organisations. Thereafter, players, officials and spectators alike, will adjourn to McCormacks of Castlepollard. Please support this charity match by your attendance. Thank you.
