Decotek Park Collinstown was the venue, where Na Piarsaigh and Castletown Geoghegan played out a superbly contested Division 1 Hurling Championship semi final fixture on Sunday December 8th.
Na Piarsaigh 1.12 Castletown Geoghegan 1.05, was the match scoreline at half time. An all important moment in this semi final match came after 25 minutes of play in the second half when Na Piarsaigh goalkeeper Kylan Heffernan superbly saved a brilliantly taken penalty by Castletown Geoghegan's Peter Clarke. Lough Lene Gaels Hurling Club and Turin Hurling Club both Congratulate Na Piarsaigh on qualifying for the Division 1 U20 Hurling Championship final. Na Piarsaigh will play Mullingar based St Oliver Plunketts in the Division 1 U20 Hurling Championship final. St Oliver Plunketts defeated a very good Clann na Gael team by a one point margin, 2.08 to 0.13 in the other semi final fixture of this competition, also played on Sunday December 8th.
