Lough Lene Gaels and Castletown Geoghegan will have to resort to a rescheduled fixture of the Slevins Coaches SHAC final, as a consequence of the abandoning of this fixture on Sunday October 27th, due to the playing conditions, not helped by the then prevailing weather conditions.
So far as this PRO is aware of, this is the first Westmeath SHAC/SHC Final to be abandoned while in motion, on the basis of the then prevailing playing conditions.
Eoin Daly and David Williams were the LLG pointscorers, a brace of points which will be now consigned to the 'never were" category.
