ACFL action

A busy week of All-County Football League action brought no joy as we lost to Mullingar Shamrocks and The Downs in Division 3 last Tuesday and Thursday, and Athlone in Division 5 on Sunday morning.

We wish Alan Fennell a speedy recovery following his injury against Mullingar Shamrocks in Springfield. With numbers tight, we would also like to say well done to our manager Niall O’Brien and selector Willie Daniels for togging out for our second team in Athlone.

Schools success

Congratulations to Mercy Secondary School, Kilbeggan on their Leinster ladies junior football final win over Gallen Community School, Ferbane in Bretland Park, Clara last Friday afternoon.

Rugby World Cup 2023 competition
