The race for the Tom Markham Cup continued last evening with Tipperary, Limerick and Offaly all winning.

In the Munster MFC, Tipp and Limerick join Cork and Kerry in the knockout stages following their Phase 1 Round 3 victories over Clare and Waterford respectively.

Three late points from Mark Neville, Louis Coughlan and Liam Freaney secured Tipperary's third win on the trot against Clare at FBD Semple Stadium. Daire Culligan scored 0-4 for the Banner, but it wasn't enough to keep his side in the championship as they succumbed to a 0-8 to 0-12 defeat.

Limerick will face Tipp for the right to meet Cork or Kerry in either semi-final after they overcame Waterford by 1-8 to 0-5 in Rathkeale. Captain Evan Curry's 53rd minute goal put the seal on the Treaty County's second win of the campaign after they had led by 0-4 to 0-1 at half-time.

Meanwhile, Offaly booked their place in the Leinster MFC quarter-finals with a 1-12 to 1-11 Group 1 Round 3 victory over Longford at Glenisk O'Connor Park. Kaelem Bryan kicked the winning point in injury-time after the Faithful had dual star Cillian Bourke sent off moments earlier.
