A new season of 'The Sunday Game' aired on RTÉ last night, but not without a glitch.
Many had tuned in to watch highlights of New York's historic Connacht SFC win over Leitrim at Gaelic Park on Saturday night, but were left disappointed by the 'out of sync' commentary and lack of analysis of the penalty shootout in particular.
New season of the Sunday Game begins with a serious malfunction. The commentary on the Leitrim v New York game lags behind the action on the screen. PS New York goalkeeper was way off his line for a couple of the Leitrim penalties in shoot-out #sundaygame

The commentary with the highlights from the New York-Leitrim game was massively out of sync. No mention of the technical glitch, and no apology, back at the studio. Crickets. RTÉ Sports and The Sunday Game are normally better than this. An acknowledgement would have helped.

TweetTwo officials standing about five feet away from the New York keeper & neither of them see he was off the line for at least two of the penalties… no analysis on the Sunday Game 🤷♂️
