Niall Ó Ceallacháin has challenged his Dublin players to back up their win over Kilkenny with another big performance against Galway in the Leinster SHC final.
Ó Ceallacháin led the Dubs to only their second Leinster SHC victory over the Cats since 1942 at a heaving Parnell Park to secure a place in the provincial decider on June 6.
"There's no point shying away from it, this is a huge win," the delighted Dublin manager said in an interview with RTÉ.
"We've beaten Kilkenny twice in the last 70-odd years in the championship, so this a huge win.
"What I would say is there's just no point in us doing this unless we follow through in two weeks' time with a proper performance and win the game.
"So, an important marker. A really, really huge achievement - especially for lads in that dressing room who are there for seven, eight, nine, 10 years. - but my answer is there's no point in today if we don't follow through in two weeks' time."
