Cole takes Meath camogie reins

Meath camogie manager Neil Cole

Neil Cole has been appointed manager of the Meath camogie team for 2024.

The Rathmolyon man replaces Dubliner Brendan Skehan who guided the Royals to this year’s All-Ireland intermediate final where they lost to Derry after a replay. Cole, who previously managed the Cavan hurlers and Trim to their first Meath SHC title in 19 years in 2020, will be assisted by his brother Gary.

“New exciting chapter in Meath Camogie as the newly appointed Neil Cole will take charges of the Meath Intermediate camogie team for 2024,” Meath Camogie said in a Facebook post.

“Highly experienced on and off the pitch Neil will bring his abundance of knowledge and wisdom to his selected group. As of today, no backroom staff have yet been appointed and we will update once they are selected and ratified.”
