Champions handed tough draw in Kerry SHC

The draw for the 2023 Kerry SHC has pitted the last two winners against each other.
Holders Causeway have been drawn in the same group (Group C) as 2021 champions Kilmoyley and 2021 runners-up St Brendan’s. With only two teams to qualify for the knockout stages, it means that one of the big guns is facing an early exit.
Last year’s beaten finalists Ballyduff are in Group A along with Lixnaw and Ballyheigue, while Crotta O’Neills, Abbeydorney and Dr Crokes – who are managed by Kerry football great Aidan O’Mahony – make up Group B. The Championship is due to throw in on the weekend of June 17-19.
