Mayo bring Sam Maguire to top of Croagh Patrick

All-Ireland football champions Mayo scaled another summit when they climbed Croagh Patrick with the Sam Maguire yesterday.
In glorious sunshine, manager Andy Moran and members of his victorious team climbed to the top of the holy mountain alongside other climbers and pilgrims.
The Westerners ended a 75-year wait for All-Ireland glory on Sunday, July 26, which is the same day as the annual Reek Sunday pilgrimage took place on Croagh Patrick.
