Former Derry ace Paddy Bradley reckons the Oak Leafers shouldn’t fear anyone as they bid to keep their season alive against Meath this weekend.
Having lost out to Ulster champions Armagh by five points last time out, Ciaran Meenagh’s men meet the Royals in a ‘do-or-die’ clash tomorrow evening at Celtic Park (7pm), where the winners advance into next weekend’s Round 3 games while the losers bow of out the Sam Maguire Cup race.
Speaking to BBC Sport NI this week, Bradley says that there were positives to take from Derry’s defeat to the Orchard men and that they shouldn’t fear any opposition.
"I thought for large parts of the Armagh game they did rightly," said the Glenullin clubman.
"Armagh, to me, are one of the top teams in the country. I thought Derry gave them plenty of bother.
"If Derry can get a win on Saturday night, then they go on to the next round with real confidence and God knows where their season could end up.
"Getting to Croke Park would be massive in an All-Ireland quarter-final. I don't think Derry should fear anybody. They've still got a core of very, very good players."
