Limerick football goalkeeper Donal O'Sullivan has announced his inter-county retirement.
The Monaleen clubman, who was also the Treaty County's joint-captain, was a mainstay of the team for a decade. One of the highlights of his career was skippering Limerick along with Iain Corbett to a Munster SFC final appearance against Kerry last year.
Paying tribute to O'Sullivan, Limerick Football Committee chairman Wayne Fitzgerald said: “Donal has been a fantastic servant to Limerick GAA and has been a role model to so many present and upcoming Limerick footballers, we wish him well in his retirement and thank him for all the wonderful memories he has given to so many Limerick Football fans down through the years."
