Former Tyrone star Enda McGinley believes Roscommon will “make it very sticky” for Dublin in Sunday’s All-Ireland SFC round one clash at Croke Park (4pm).

The Rossies have not scored a championship victory at headquarters since 1980 and head into this weekend’s clash against the Leinster champions as 7/1 outsiders.

Speaking on the RTE GAA Podcast before this weekend’s games, McGinley said he could see a win for Davy Burke’s men if Dublin are below par.

“We saw their performance against Mayo; it was phenomenal," he said.

"[Davy] Burke can really target a game and you can see that he loves the big teams coming. They've had a bit of time to prepare for this one and they'll be gunning.

"It's in Croke Park, which will be tough for them, but I'd have a belief that Davy Burke will have those boys well set up for this game. They'll make it very sticky for Dublin.

"Unless Dublin are in the mood, which has been hit or miss, then it absolutely could be a Roscommon win."
