Steven Poacher has left his coaching role with the Roscommon senior football team.
In his one season working under Anthony Cunningham, the Rossies suffered relegation from Division 1 of the Allianz League after a nine-point play-off defeat to Armagh sent them straight back down.
Roscommon's 2021 season went from bad to worse when they were dumped out of the championship by Galway in the Connacht semi-final.
Poacher was a key part of the Carlow set-up as they secured promotion from Division 4 for the first time in 33 years as well as a rare Leinster semi-final appearance in 2018.
He also worked with the Down minor footballers and the Bryansford senior team before linking up with the Rossies back in January.
Mark Dowd, Iain Daly and Dara Bruen are also believed to have departed Cunningham's backroom team.
