Under 14A Final

Congratulations to our girls who won the Under 14A Final for the second year in a row on Thursday evening when they beat Tullamore in Dr Kelly's Field.

The girls had a very strong first half and led 3-9 to 1-3 at half time.  Credit to Tullamore however who came back well in the second half and reduced the deficit.  While they pushed hard and tried to work goal scoring opportunities our defence stood strong and the girls went on to see out the game winning on a scoreline of 3-11 to 1-7.

Afterwards Player of the Match was awarded to Siofra Ginty who scored 1-10 of the team's tally.

Well done to our Under 10 girls who played their latest Go Games of the year last Wednesday when they played games against Kinnitty, Belmont and Ballinamere/Durrow in Kinnitty.  Well done girls and keep up the great work.
