Doohamlet club notes

Doohamlet G.F.C Results.  Our Reserve team played Blackhill in the final game of the league on Wednesday last and came away with a win.  This left them in the semi-final of the league on Friday evening last against Clones.  This was a good close game and Doohamlet came out the winners in the end with the final score Doohamlet  3-11    Clones 2-12 . Team:    Dermot Kelly, Niall Connolly (1-4), Ted Duffy (0-2), Cillian Walshe, Ciaran Markey, Oisin O Neill (2-4), Michael Marray, Emmet Mc Manus, Kevin Mc Ardle, Sean Markey (0-1), Darren Connolly, Daniel Connolly, John Duffy, Jack Mc Elroy, Aidan Marray.  Subs: Christopher Boylan, Ryan Ingram, Dylan Mc Kenna, Shane Mc Bennett, Brian Mc Kenna.  Well done to all the players and management on reaching the final. 

U-15s played Ballybay in Ballybay on Thursday evening last and in what was a very competitive game ended up a draw. 

Fixtures:  U-15s play Rockcorry this Thursday evening in Doohamlet @ 7.30pm in what will be a very important game to keep them in the running for a semi-final. 

Our senior team play Blackhill at home this Friday evening @ 8am in their second game of the league. 

U-17s are away to Scotstown on Sunday morning @ 11.30am 

 

Sympathy:  Doohamlet G.F.C wishes to extend their deepest sympathy to the family and friends of the late Brendan Óg Duffy who died tragically at the weekend and sympathy also to Phil Traynor sponsor of Monaghan GAA. 

We also extend our sympathy to the Mc Elroy family on the death of Sean Mc Elroy (Australia) 

 

Congratulations to our County Senior team on their great victory on Saturday evening last against Armagh in the Ulster Semi-Final.
