No he played the first half at full forward and looked good, he scored 2 points (missed that detail in my previous post)

Hey Sheridan2010louth.. was or final tally 3-27?? That's what I count when I added up the individual scores.. sorry if I'm being jackass Some score irregardless. Was it an U20 Kildare possibly?? Or a development team? Most of that Meath team have played senior intercounty already. brian (Meath) - Posts: 1995 - 04/02/2026 11:46:20 2654943 Link 0 |

Yeah meath were very impressive, definitely could have been 3-27 or more, there was no umpires so was hard to tell were some scores given or not and if some were 2 pointers or 1 point scores. Just looked like a kildare development team to me, didnt look like u20s.

Just reposting this. Surprised to not see him at least mentioned on the panel for the Kildare challenge given he's one of a handful of Meath lads to play in latter stages of Sigerson this year. Anyone know if he'll be involved? And should have said DCU, not UCD, in original post.

Any updates on injured players Hickey, Curtis, Gray, Jones and Kinlough. I know posters stated Kinlough training and not far away but any news on the others? winatallcost (Meath) - Posts: 916 - 05/02/2026 20:24:37 2655142 Link 0 |

All are just weeks away apart from Jones. He won't play any league.

Thats good but pity on Jones. He seems to get to a point where he is training fully, almost back if not actually back from a long term injury before getting another long term injury. When everyone is fit, there will be serious competition for places. Could be argued after first set of matches, Flynn, Morris, Coffey, Caulfied, O'Halloran, Lavin and possibly Menton, McBride and Conlon are playing at their best level. Loads of improvement to come from others.
