Fair enough, I get your points. But you could equally argue that despite being competitive at club level they really have very little to show for it either.

Ehh well yeah I agree. Just think its a bit of a reach to and link clubs doing well to the county team coming good. Rhode Portlaoise Eire OG Rathknew To name a few clubs that have competed well in Leinster and it has nothing for their County teams fortunes. Good point regarding other county clubs. You could add Baltinglas as well.

There are still games going on in Pairc Tailteann and no sign of work or even an official signing on contracts for work to start. 49erroyal (Meath) - Posts: 79 - 04/12/2025 12:04:40 2647003 Link 0 |

A great win for St pats, into the last four, would be a great boost for Meath football if they went on to win the hogan or at least go on a deep run

Any updates regarding injuries? Frayner the obvious one but heard rafferty could be carrying a knock is this true? Royalroyal97 (Meath) - Posts: 2 - 04/12/2025 17:54:30 2647066 Link 0 |

Just heard Ronan Ryan will miss some league, having or has had an operation. If him and raff are both out the full back line is looking like a big issue. You'd probably have to move Keoghan or Adam O'Neill back there. I'd like to see Brian O'Halloran and Conor Ennis as our corner backs.

Ronan Ryan isn't a massive loss, he's a good players but you'd think he's not first choice at corner back. Rafferty a big loss obviously. Think we should have more depth this year too, so we should have the luxury of dropping back Keoghan to the corner or O'Neill to full back if needed. Is Rafferty actually injured and if so is it serious enough so that he could miss start of league? Frayne obviously long terms. What about others, Jones, Conlon, Kinlough etc?

Disagree i think Ronan Ryan is a big loss and a nailed on starter if fit. Thought the quarter final vs Galway was the best of his Meath career. Not sure about your depth comment either, I don't see it, especially in that full back line.
