Replying To Belt: "Some clubs being punished for having lads on a successful Meath football team.
Feels like the senior games should have been pushed out so below players werent missing for their clubs.
Billy Hogan - Longwood Brian O'Halloran - Kildalkey Eoin Harkin - Kilmessan Daithi MacGowan - Ratoath"
Yeah agree on this. Sure when have the hurling side of the ccc made any sense in what they do. All above clubs would only love to play first Round with them lads.

Its a damned if they do, damned if they don't situation for the CCC.
Move the games and there's a risk of the other clubs having two rounds played (should Meath win) before these four even swing a stick.
That also has a drip down affect for those with second teams. Kilmessan and Kildalkey could stack second teams for IHC if no SHC this week.
There's also very little space in the calendar once the football championship gets up and running too.
County board at very start of the years said that unless there was exceptional circumstances, games wouldn't be moved and if they were, they had to be played by the following Wednesday anyway.
So it makes sense to just leave as is and have the four clubs play. I doubt it's going to have a massive impact tbh, it's not like Kildalkey, Ratoath and Kilmessan won't qualify out of the groups.
