Senior and Intermediate forums open for discussion and no junior. Arguably the most competitive grade with 4/5 quality teams in the hunt EasternRoyal24 (Meath) - Posts: 3 - 14/09/2024 12:33:28 2569817 Link 0 |
With no relegation it seems in this years championship, teams are seeing it as a chance to play ballsy, head on football. Some serious performances individually and as a team so far by likes of Ballinlough v Brigids, Vincent's v Ballinlough and CNG v Kilmainham… thoughts? If Slane can put their best form togetherfor 60 minutes they'll be hard to beat

St Vincent's for the junior, having a good season gaining promotion to division 2 in league proving they are a good enough outfit

There are certainly a lot of genuine contenders this year i think it might be a season too soon for Slane. St Yincent's to me are the team to beat.

I think it's between Clan Na Gael and St Vincent's, Dunsany closest after that, the rest are just making up the numbers. Stretch289 (Meath) - Posts: 6 - 15/09/2024 16:40:08 2569959 Link 1 |
Be interesting to see how they perform in tougher knockout stage compared to Jun B. Have they the panel?

It's now or never for Dunsany. They should win and set up a cracking final vs Athboy. Gaelic_Games (Meath) - Posts: 21 - 01/10/2024 15:23:54 2572708 Link 0 |

Delighted for Dunsany with many really good teams over the years coming up short. On a windy day in awkward conditions, the goal proved to be the crucial score and unfortunately for vincents a defensive mistake.

Congrats to Dunsany, its hard not to mention one player in particular. The way Eoin Harkin dominated that Junior championship would leave you scratching your head as to why COR dropped him off the meath panel. Under Andy mcentee he was making good progress at inter county. Surely Robbie brennan will call him back in. Sheridan2010louth (Meath) - Posts: 184 - 21/10/2024 22:58:01 2576274 Link 3 |
He didn't fit CORs strick criteria...... he wasn't a hardy north meath hoor
