So most clubs membership are around 100 euro and you say that this pays for attending a physio

Ours are either paid for by managers or else the teams would raise funds at the beginning/end of each year to put towards these costs

It is getting very expensive I'll give you that. 80 -100 euro to attend a match. 40-50 a payer to treat and these prices are reasonable. Then you have say your junior team or 2nd team looking for physio aswell.

But to answer your question our club never ask players to pay and we pay out of club funds be it fundraisers or membership.

I would say its a job for the club to hav in place for the players and take the cost into account when setting membership and fundraising

Thats crazy. Surely thats what your paying a playing memebership for. insurance, phiso and facilities like club gym and showers? Very tight of that club and sounds like they don't have control of their finances.

No it is not ! I suggest you might seek written proof signed by a club official that this is the case .

What happened to us was the player paid the physio sessions, filled in the insurance form and claimed it all back. If a player couldn't afford it, the club would cover the sessions and then claim it back

I didn't think the insurance covered physio maybe in ladies football but I'm nearly sure not in men's football

Yea I was thinking the same but different counties can have different ways of doing things but with membership set at 120 thought that would be enuf to cover cost especially when there is no gym facilities
