We Will Take Ye On Sunday.

Amazed. Andy Mac still has not found a free taker nor a goalie. He had months to do this. You have nothing to compare to John Heslin. I expect a Westmeath win at the weekend.

Glad you're expecting a win on Sunday and sure why wouldn't you?

Sure we're only there to make up the numbers lad.

Sounds like Westmeath will have nothing like Joh Heslin playing for them on Sunday so ;)

Is this the first time that Meath and Westmeath will play each other since the Championship clash in 2015?

They played in the division 2 league in Mullingar in either 2017 or 2018 in a hurling/football double header. Westmeath won the hurling and Meath won the football.

Was that not the delayed o Byrne cup final? Meath won well finishing with 13 men.

Hopefully issues have been addressed, either way expect a very tight game today, McGill will have his hands full with Heslin if he plays f/f. Outcome of this battle could go a long way in deciding the winner.

Pretty turgid stuff today from both sides, neither up to much if you were to judge by this showing!

Congratulations lads we came up just a little short. Division 1 experience stood to ye.The difference was the bench. The good news for Meath is win one game and you have a semi to go up where it looks like we will be in the opposite play offs.

Thanks, could have gone either way. Ye certainly have a few class forwards that would certainly walk into our team, maybe we should forget ancient bad blood and merge?, we might have a half decent team between the 2 of us :)
