Bohermeen picked up the Cumann na mBunscol Girls Division 2 title with six points to spare over Kilcloon in the penultimate game of the day. The Mary Coyne, Edel Adams and James Brennan managed outfit last won this title in 2022. 

Isobel English and the impressive Aoibhinn Fallon pointed for the winners in the opening five minutes. Kilcloon hit back with 1-1 from full forward Addison Brereton. Brereton could have had another couple of goals but for some outstanding work from the Bohermeen defence. The girls in Black and Yellow got a great boost before the break with two quick goals from Kate Rennicks and Katie Kenny and take a 2-2 to 1-1 interval lead.

Fallon put her school in the driving seat with a goal after the restart. Ella Travers and Annalise Rogers added points and Bohermeen seemed to be on their way to victory. A second goal from Brereton with five minutes remaining left it a nervy finish for Bohermeen but they withstood any Kilcloon attack and run out deserving winners.

After the game Mary Coyne presented the Division 2 cup to Naoise Farrelly.
