Having lost finals in 2023 and 2024 Mount Hanover made sure the Boys Division 4/5 Shield title was heading back to the East Coast after this 13 point win over Scoil Eoin Baiste, Nobber in the third game of the day.

The scoring exploits of Peter Crosby was the stand out feature of this very entertaining encounter. Their talented attacker finished the game with 3-8. Crosby got the scoreboard working before Tiarnach McEntee raised a green flag for Nobber. For the next ten minutes Mount Hanover dominated. Goals from Crosby (2) and Cian Deasy had them in control. Nobber were given a life line with two quick goals from Adam Finegan but by the break Mount Hanover opened up a 5-6 to 3-0 lead.

The winners' sixth goal came in the opening stages of the second half from Daniel McGuinness and the team in Blue and White were well on their way to victory.

After the game captain Tom Kelly was presented with the Division 4/5 Shield.
